Dump Truck Operator

The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for operating trucks to transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and other materials and/or equipment to various job site locations. Perform pre and post trip inspections, including checking all fluids levels, lights, tires, and brakes. Maintaining accurate driver and mileage logs, complete required paperwork for billing. Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to management.

Must have a clean driving record. Three years of related driving experience preferred. Must keep vehicle in a clean and in orderly condition. Must have the ability to read, write and do basic mathematical calculations. Work effectively in a team environment as well as being able to work independently with attention to detail.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $27.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
