Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site dynamics. This role involves transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to determine material needs and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including weight tickets and delivery logs.
• Operate additional heavy equipment as needed, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials safely at construction sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site.
• Provide mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site operations and safety practices.
• Ability to operate horizontal drilling equipment and tankers is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
