Are you passionate about film, hospitality, and delivering unforgettable customer experiences? The Arc Cinema is looking for a motivated and dynamic Duty Manager to help lead our amazing team and ensure every guest has a first-class cinema experience.

Reporting to the General Manager of Arc Cinema Ennis, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As Duty Manager, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day running of the cinema. You’ll inspire your team, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking operational control during your shifts – including opening and closing the cinema
• Leading, motivating, and supporting staff to deliver exceptional service and hit key performance targets
• Ensuring our high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety (including HACCP compliance) are maintained
• Delivering hands-on leadership – working alongside your team across all cinema areas (selling, ushering, cleaning, etc.)
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution every time
• Supporting stock management, pricing, and promotional decisions
• Following cash handling and company policies with accuracy and care
• Contributing to marketing, events, and ideas to enhance the overall customer experience
• Providing regular feedback and insights to senior management to help improve the venue
• Maintaining daily administrative tasks including reporting and KPI tracking

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take charge and help shape the experience of every guest who walks through our doors.

You are:

• A people person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• A natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to success
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to presentation and service
• Organised, proactive, and tech-savvy (Microsoft Office skills essential)
• Experienced in hospitality, leisure, or food & beverage (2+ years preferred)
• Experienced in supervising or managing teams (2+ years preferred)
• Fully eligible to work in Ireland and able to commit to a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
