Description:
As a Duty Manager at Cater Care Australia, you will be based in Mackay, QLD and play a crucial role within the CCS Operations department. This permanent, full-time position falls under the category of Site Management. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations at remote site locations.
- Managing and leading a team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Implementing and maintaining operational procedures to uphold high standards of quality and safety.
- Providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive client relationships.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating staff rostering, training, and development initiatives.
- Supervising all aspects of site operations, including catering services, accommodation facilities, and associated amenities.
- Prioritising the health, safety, and wellbeing of staff and clients through strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory, financial transactions, and operational reports.
- Responding promptly to any issues or emergencies that may arise on-site.
Skills and Experiences:
- Proven experience in a similar Duty Manager or Site Management role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a remote team effectively
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a remote work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Sound knowledge of catering and hospitality operations
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- Experience in rostering, staff management, and training
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a remote location
- Current First Aid certificate and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification
