Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations of the mine site. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• with dispatchers, clients, Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
• Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus.
• Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.

Pay: $27.50-$30.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Licence/Certification:

• Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
