Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a straight truck.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CLASS D) is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in freight transportation.
• clean driving abstract with 0 Points.
• Canadian Citizen.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
