About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Product Assistant to join our team. This is a key entry-level role that keeps our digital storefront running smoothly. From uploading new styles and writing compelling product descriptions, to managing samples and supporting the broader product development process. Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Site Management

  • Upload new product styles to the website, including images, descriptions, sizing, and pricing
  • Write accurate, on-brand product descriptions and style notes for all items
  • Organize and maintain product categories, filters, and tags for optimal site navigation
  • Audit live product pages regularly to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
  • Coordinate with the creative team to ensure final image assets are approved and properly formatted before upload
  • Support seasonal site updates, new collection launches, and promotional campaigns

Sample & Prototype Management

  • Receive, log, and organize incoming samples and prototypes from vendors and manufacturers
  • Maintain a sample tracking system, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition
  • Coordinate sample pulls for photoshoots, fittings, buyer appointments, and press requests
  • Return or archive samples after use according to company protocol
  • Liaise with the production and design teams regarding sample statuses and revisions

General Administrative & Junior-Level Support

  • Assist with data entry and maintaining product information in internal systems (PLM, ERP, or spreadsheets)
  • Support photoshoot prep, including steaming garments and assisting on set as needed
  • Help track inventory levels and flag discrepancies to the appropriate team
  • Assist with basic reporting on product performance and site metrics
  • Handle general administrative tasks for the e-commerce and merchandising team

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in e-commerce, fashion, retail, or a related field (internships count!)
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, or similar
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to craft engaging, concise product copy
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in Excel / Google Sheets
  • A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of current trends
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, team-player attitude with strong communication skills
  • Must be able to commute to our Englewood, NJ office

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
