Introduction:
Are you passionate about working with children and ready to begin a rewarding career in early education? St Nicholas Early Education is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Certificate III Trainee.
As a valued member of our dedicated team, you’ll be supported as you complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through a work-based traineeship. You’ll learn hands-on, develop meaningful relationships with children and families, and gain the skills to thrive in a nurturing, purpose-driven environment.
Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
As an Early Childhood Educator, you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes:
- Developing strong relationships with children at St Nicholas
- Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families
- Implementing the policies and associated procedures of St Nicholas at all times and
- Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of St Nicholas
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
A genuine passion for working with young children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy to assist with documenting learning
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced educators
Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to completing the traineeship
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- No prior qualifications required
- To undertake the Certificate III
- Early Childhood Education and Care Workbased Traineeship CHC30113
- Working With Children Check verification number.
