Our childcare setting has grown at a considerable rate over the last few years thanks to a growing and experienced childcare team, a dedicated committee and families in the local community who trust, use and support our service. Carrickroe Community Childcare are delighted to advertise these new positions:

Early Years Educator - 2 positions available

Criteria:

• Minimum QQI Level 5 or BTEC Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education is required.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting would be an advantage.
• An applied knowledge of the Early Years Frameworks Aistear and Siolta and Planning Practices would be an advantage.
• Be flexible, child focused, have a positive mindset and motivation.
• Be a positive role model demonstrating Patience, Understanding and Empathy towards children, families and team members.
• Excellent communication skills with both children, parents and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Willing to participate in ongoing training and development. First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection Training would be an advantage but will be provided otherwise.
