Job Title: Early years Educator

Positions available: AIMS Support worker mornings/part-time 15 hours per week (term time over a 38-week period.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Early Learning and Care (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification) – required
• Previous experience working in a crèche or early years setting is desirable
• Experience supporting children who may require additional support with their development, participation and inclusion is desirable, but a genuine interest and willingness to learn will also be considered
• Strong commitment to child-centred care, inclusion, safety, and wellbeing
• Patient, caring, empathetic, and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Positive, enthusiastic, and supportive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to children who may require additional support with their development, participation and inclusion
• Support children's individual needs, interests, strengths and abilities
• Work closely with educators to support children during play, learning activities and daily routines
• Build warm, positive and responsive relationships with children
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social development
• Work collaboratively with educators, management and families to support positive outcomes
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
• Follow service policies and procedures and participate in mandatory training

About the Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and caring AIM Support Worker to join our team and provide individualised support to children within our crèche. You will help create a safe, happy and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to participate, develop and reach their potential. Working closely with educators and families, you will support each child’s individual needs and development in line with Aistear and Síolta frameworks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
