Ennis Montessori School is a well-established early years Service in Ennis with over 25 years of experience in the community. Our Mission at Ennis Montessori School is to provide outstanding Childcare, incorporating the principles of Aistear and Síolta, which nurtures and enhances the potential within each child.

About the role:
– The position is initially part-time, commencing in January 2026, approximately 15 hours per week, moving to full-time maternity cover for 6 months from April 2026, and then part-time again. There is Possibility of full-time or longer hours in the future dependent on the needs. The applicant must be available to work in the evenings between 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm for the part-time position and full days for the maternity cover.
– Competitive remuneration above the current ERO rates, dependent on experience and qualifications.
– 20 days annual leave per year
– CPD is encouraged and often subsidised
– A good working environment

The right candidate will:
– Have a Level 7/8 degree (this is preferable) OR a minimum QQI Level 6 qualification in the Early Years.
– Be able to work as part of a team as well on their own initiative
– Show evidence of planning and preparing child – led, engaging activities
– Have knowledge of the Montessori principle
