About us
We are looking for a practitioner available to work between the hours of 7.40 - 4.00 term time over 42 weeks of the year. Initially on a Monday from 8.20 - 3.

Squirrels Pre-School is a small charity preschool in Totton, SO40 8WU. We are professional, fun and supportive.
```Duties:```
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
```Qualifications:```
- Good standard of education including a level 2/3 if possible
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is an advantage
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 7 per week
