Job description:
We are looking for an Early Years Teacher (Key person) to join our team, to work in our morning session from 8 30am- 12 30pm with 18 children alongside a lead educator.

The successful candidate must have:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• An ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, fostering good working relationships within the team

• Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta Frameworks

• Be kind, caring and positive in their interaction with children

• The ability to plan and implement engaging play experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional and physical development

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress

• Follow all service policies, including child protection, confidentiality and relevant legislation

• Knowledge of maintaining records

• To maintain a safe, clean and healthy indoor and outside environment

• First Aid and Manual Handling an advantage

• Appropriate Garda Vetting/ Police Clearance

• QQI level 5 Childcare qualification is the minimum requirement.

The position is permenant term time 20 hours a weeek, working from 8 30 am – 12 30pm Monday – Friday
