We are seeking a caring, professional, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education (ECE) IT Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through play-based programming while integrating age-appropriate technology and interactive learning experiences. The educator will create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on play-based learning principles
- Support children’s learning, creativity, independence, and positive social interactions
- Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress and daily experiences with families
- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
- Guide children using positive behavior support strategies
- Ensure classroom health, safety, and licensing standards are consistently followed
- Support feeding routines, including bottle feeding, snack and meal supervision, and encouraging healthy eating habits
- Ensure children are cared for in a clean, comfortable, and dignified manner at all times
- Integrate basic technology and digital learning tools into classroom experiences
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive childcare team
- Assist with personal care routines, including diaper changing, toileting, and maintaining proper hygiene practices in a respectful and safe manner
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid ECE(IT) Certificate/License in British Columbia
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- 2 Strong referance
- at least one year work experince with children 12 months to 36 months
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous childcare experience is considered an asset
Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
