We are seeking a caring, professional, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education (ECE) IT Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through play-based programming while integrating age-appropriate technology and interactive learning experiences. The educator will create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities based on play-based learning principles
  • Support children’s learning, creativity, independence, and positive social interactions
  • Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress and daily experiences with families
  • Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and team members
  • Guide children using positive behavior support strategies
  • Ensure classroom health, safety, and licensing standards are consistently followed
  • Support feeding routines, including bottle feeding, snack and meal supervision, and encouraging healthy eating habits
  • Ensure children are cared for in a clean, comfortable, and dignified manner at all times
  • Integrate basic technology and digital learning tools into classroom experiences
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive childcare team
  • Assist with personal care routines, including diaper changing, toileting, and maintaining proper hygiene practices in a respectful and safe manner
  • Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid ECE(IT) Certificate/License in British Columbia
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • 2 Strong referance
  • at least one year work experince with children 12 months to 36 months
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous childcare experience is considered an asset

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
