You will be part of the Market Intelligence department, whose mission is to support Luxinnovation’s departments by providing knowledge and insights to foster innovation and collective decision-making. The Market Intelligence Analysts are the driving force, collecting and analyzing essential information and data on innovation ecosystems and market trends.
To reinforce the team and to support the management of Market Intelligence projects, Luxinnovation is looking for an Analyst (m/f):
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market research & analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify innovation trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Build database to provide qualitative and quantitative insights, paying attention to the quality and accuracy of data, and to the replicability and automation of the data collection processes.
Actionable insights: Provide relevant knowledge and insights, considering the broader EU and national contexts, to reach Luxinnovation’s strategic objective. This includes translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making processes within Luxinnovation and of our main stakeholders. Insights can be delivered in the Luxinnovation’s Knowledge Hub as reports, databases, dashboards, infographics, or decision-support systems.
Project management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring knowledge creation and diffusion. Take ownership for timely delivery and high quality of work. Ensure effective collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous improvement: With a fresh perspective and a proactive approach, provide feedback on existing practices, identify areas for enhancement, and suggest innovative solutions to optimise our market intelligence capabilities (ex: AI-based, new methodologies….).
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- You hold a master’s degree preferably in management, econometrics, economic intelligence or business engineering.
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience for instance in consulting where you demonstrated:
o Excellent numerical and analytical skills combined with a sound business and strategic acumen.
o The ability to understand internal or external clients’ needs and co-build solutions with them
o The ability to translate data into intelligible and concise written and graphical representation.
o The ability to challenge the status quo and introduce effective, data-driven projects
o The ability to convey messages in a simple way and structure ideas and concepts
o Project management skills
- You have strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset, coupled with an outstanding communication and a problem-solving behaviour.
- You have an appetite for technological trends and innovation, are curious and be able to adapt to different environments.
- You are detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for critical thinking.
- You have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel); good knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.).
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. A good command of French will be considered a plus.
- A good knowledge of Luxembourg and its national economy will be considered as a major advantage.
