Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Edgebander Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining edgebanding machinery to apply edge banding materials to wood panels and components according to specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor edgebanding machines to apply edge banding to panels and parts
• Adjust machine settings for thickness, edge material type (PVC, wood veneer, laminate, etc.), and adhesive requirements
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of edgebanding equipment
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or quality concerns

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience operating an edgebander machine (1–3+ years preferred)
• Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or furniture manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production paperwork
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
