About the role
We are looking to appoint an Education Project Officer to support the Faculty through managing a portfolio of education-related projects and working closely with the leadership team in taking forward strategic initiatives relating to teaching and learning. The role also ensures we deliver an exceptional student experience through working closely with our programme teams to improve systems and processes for efficient and effective service delivery.
The role is offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months or is available as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates, to cover a period of maternity leave. We will consider applications to work on a full-time or part-time basis (0.8 FTE). This is an internal recruitment advert, available to eligible UCL staff only.
About you
The successful candidate will be an experienced higher education professional with project management and / or education management skills, and a thorough understanding of the education lifecycle and associated administrative processes. As a strong team player, the Education Project Officer will have highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work to deadlines calmly under pressure, with close attention to detail and a flexible approach to changing priorities.
The successful candidate will be confident in handling and analysing data and management information, and have excellent IT skills and experience in using various software packages, as well as the ability to learn new systems and approaches quickly, and support others in doing so. They will also be highly organised and able to work collaboratively to support the Dean’s Team and maintain momentum on key activities.
