Educational Psychologist (Locum)

We are looking for a Locum Educational Psychologist to provide expert assessment and consultation services for our clients. The successful candidate will specialise in autism, ADHD, dyslexia, IQ testing, and school placement evaluations, bringing a deep understanding of neurodiversity to support our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including IQ tests, diagnostic evaluations for autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, and school placement assessments.
  • Prepare detailed, clear, and actionable reports for families, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide insights and recommendations for educational and therapeutic interventions.
  • Offer guidance to parents and educators on supporting neurodiverse children in academic and social settings.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess relevant education & professional certifications: Minimum Master’s Degree in Psychology from a reputable university.
  • Registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or eligible for registration within the next 12 months.
  • Proven experience in assessing autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and conducting IQ and school placement tests.
  • Prior clinical experience working with children and parents with a proven track record in providing meaningful interventions.
  • Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions and evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non-specialists.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open to work on freelance arrangement or travel if required.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
  • Familiarity with multi-agency collaboration (e.g., schools, healthcare providers).
  • Passion for advocating for neurodiverse individuals and their families.
