Avantor sucht einen EHS-Spezialisten / Sicherheitsfachkraft (w/m/d) für Österreich.

In dieser Stelle übernehmen Sie die Verantwortung für Sicherheit und Nachhaltigkeit an unseren österreichischen Standorten. Sie sorgen nicht nur für die Einhaltung der EHS-Standards, sondern treiben aktiv die Weiterentwicklung unserer Sicherheitskultur voran - gemeinsam mit der Standortleitung und einem engagierten Team.

Unsere Standorte befinden sich in Wien und umfassen ein Lager für Labormaterialien (inklusive Chemikalien) sowie ein Geschäftsbüro.

Arbeitsmodell: 38,5 Std./Woche, unbefristeter Vertrag, hybrides Arbeiten (2 Home-Office-Tage pro Woche).

Ihre Aufgaben

• Sie fungieren als EHS-Fachstelle für unsere zwei Standorte (Lager und Büro), sowie dem technischen Service.
• Entwicklung, Aufrechterhaltung und Koordinierung des EHS-Managementsystems in ganz Österreich; Abstimmung mit der gesamten europäischen Organisation für die ISO-Zertifizierung (45001, 14001).
• Verwaltung und Pflege von EHS-Compliance-Programmen, um die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften zu gewährleisten.
• Proaktive Beratung des Unternehmens bei Gesetzesänderungen, die sich auf unseren Betrieb auswirken.
• Erstellung und Pflege von ATEX-Konformitäts- und Notfallplänen.
• Erstellung von obligatorischem EHS-Schulungsmaterial.
• Teilnahme und Moderation von Sitzungen des Sicherheitsausschusses.
• Entwicklung, Verbesserung und Durchführung von Sicherheitsprogrammen für die Standorte.

Das bringen Sie mit

• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung mit EHS-Schwerpunkt.
• Zertifizierung als Sicherheitsfachkraft (gemäß SFK-VO).
• Erste Berufserfahrung in einer EHS-Funktion, idealerweise in einem internationalen Umfeld.
• Kenntnisse in Arbeitsschutz und relevanten Normen (ISO 45001, 14001) sowie ATEX.
• Kommunikationsstärke in Deutsch und Englisch.
• Fähigkeit, Beziehungen aufzubauen und Einfluss zu nehmen – intern wie extern.
• Pluspunkte: Zusatzausbildung als Abfall-/Umweltbeauftragter und/oder giftbeauftragte Person.
