Position Overview:

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, site safety procedures, and high-quality workmanship on projects such as EV charger installations, lighting upgrades, and building automation.

You will learn by doing, developing the hands-on skills, diagnostic capabilities, and customer-focused mindset necessary for your Red Seal journey while contributing to our positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems under supervision
• Support with interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics
• Maintain clean, organized work sites following safety procedures
• Perform material handling and tool organization to support licensed electricians
• Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues using proper tools
• Attend safety meetings and actively follow all health and safety protocols
• Uphold a positive, respectful attitude with customers, team members, and site staff

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in the Ontario Electrical Apprenticeship Program (309A)
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding
• Willingness to travel to various job sites across Ontario
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to learning
• Respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused approach to work
