Global Controls Incorporated has a new and exciting opportunity for control panel assembly at our Balzac facility. We currently have a very busy outlook for the remainder of this calendar year. We are looking for engaged and energetic individuals with Control panel fabrication experience to join our growing team.

- Shop environment, various work areas for panel fabrication and assembly

- Experience in control panel fabrication considered and asset and is a requirement for this position. Individuals without experience in this sector WILL NOT be considered for the position.

- Electrical panel layout and installation of electrical equipment.

- Perform point-to-point wiring, knowledge of standard wiring procedures which includes proper wire routing, stripping, crimping and proper wire termination is considered and asset.

- Proficient in metal cutting, drilling, tapping etc.

- Work experience on Schneider, Rockwell PLCs, Emerson ROC/Floboss, ScadaPack control panels, Lighting/Motor Contactor and VFD Panels is an asset.

- Wiring of electrical components and support to other departments

- CSA/CEC/UL standards knowledge and experience is an asset

- Responsible for daily housekeeping and keeping working area clean

- Use of various hand and power tools

- Well Organized and extreme attention to detail is a requirement.

- Basic hand tools required

- Steel toed Safety boots required

- Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs

- Safety training required (WHIMIS, CSTS and First Aid )

Note: We are not looking to hire Electrical apprentices, engineers for this position.

• Pay: $23.00 - 27.00 per hour depending on experience
• 40 - 60 hours weekly schedule
