We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician.
The successful candidate will operate within our maintenance team to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on site.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- General Lighting Testing and Repairs
- Emergency Lighting Testing & Repairs
- Portable Appliance Testing & Certification
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance routines on electrical systems
- Support building equipment including both electrical and mechanical
- Conduct other non-electrical works when required
- Supervise contractors
- Work closely with the production team to enhance and develop the overall performance of machines on site and reduce downtime
Essential Requirements:
- Electrical Trades or Third Level Electrical Qualification
· Minimum 3 years’ experience (post apprenticeship)in a service and maintenance role
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
· Flexibility and the ability to adapt
- Ability to work independently and as part of the maintenance team
- Excellent communication skills
· Fluent English
· Certified to work in the EU
Desirable:
- MEWP certificate
- Experience of maintenance management system on phone/tablet/PC
Job Type:
· Full-time, Permanent
· Immediate start
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime rates will apply for occasional weekend and out of hours work
