What you’ll do?

Our Electrical Trade Assistant supports our electricians with the installation of security systems, CCTV infrastructure and associated electrical components across project sites. This role involves assisting with cable installation, preparing work areas, moving materials and providing general labour to ensure installations are completed safely and efficiently. The role requires reliability, teamwork and a proactive approach to assisting with day-to-day site operations.

• Assisting electricians with the installation of security systems and CCTV Equipment.
• Support cable installation, routing and general labouring.
• Preparing work areas and maintaining site cleanliness and organisation.
• Following site safety protocols and supporting compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

What you’ll bring?

• Obtain an Open Cable License and/or Security License.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and physically fit.
• Experience within the CCTV, security and IT space.
• Commitment to following safety regulations and ensuring a safe work environment.

What else do you need to apply?

• Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill and to our client's offices across Melbourne.
• Be available for the work hours of 6:00pm - 2:00am.
• Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.

Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
