Full Time Electrical Tutor/ Assessor

Due to our continued success within the electrical training sector, we now have a new full-time vacancy for an Electrical Tutor/Assessor here at our training centre in Stoke on Trent.

This is a very diverse role where you will work alongside our existing team of Electrical Tutors/Assessors to deliver a high standard of training and assess competence across a range of qualifications that we deliver.

Subject to the needs of the business, the successful applicant will be required to:

  • carry out theory or practical training either at our training centre or at customer site locations
  • carry out assessments either at our training centre or at customer site locations
  • develop training course material from issued specifications

Tutor/Assessor essential requirements:

  • NVQ 3 qualified or Apprenticeship trained
  • A desire to improve electrical industry standards
  • A team player with a willingness to adapt and support others where needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Use of a vehicle to facilitate site visits where required

Full assessing and teaching training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Support and benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £37,000 - £48,000, linked to your skills and qualifications

The Electrical Tutor/Assessor salary is based on a 39-hour week.

One evening per week may be required during term times, which will be paid as overtime or taken as time in lieu.
