We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrican to join our team in L-7750 Colmar-Berg in supporting the operation of an automated system designed to secure the production takeover for a renowned tire manufacturer. The ideal candidate should be familiarized with systems automation, particularly in the electrical area, and will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of the hardware, troubleshooting electrical components, and providing support in preventive maintenance tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components such as motors, sensors, and other automation-related parts.
  • Automation System Support: Provide general support to the automation system, focusing on the electrical and network topics.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including monitoring and maintaining gates, network cabling, printers, and other related equipment.
  • Stock Management: Ensure sufficient spear parts availability and materials necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Collaboration with Automation Provider: Support the specialists and collaborate with them when more specialized knowledge is required, especially for mechanical issues or advanced automation system adjustments.
  • Cross-Facility Support: Support across multiple facilities (e.g. in forklift operation).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in electrical or a similar technical field.
  • Familiarity with automation systems, particularly in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including motors, sensors, and other related components.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Good knowledge of stock management (spear parts handling).
  • Knowledge of network cabling and printer systems is considered as an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and support the system at various locations (e.g. Germany).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with the Cimcorp system is a plus.
