A commercial electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in non-residential buildings like offices, retail spaces, and factories. They work with high-capacity, three-phase systems, conduit, and transformers, ensuring compliance with strict safety codes. Key duties include reading blueprints, troubleshooting faults, and installing lighting and power distribution systems. www.fortis.edu +4Core Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, lighting, circuit breakers, and transformers in commercial facilities.
- System Upgrades: Perform upgrades and installations of complex electrical systems, including three-phase systems, generators, and large-scale, low-voltage systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
- Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and site specifications to map out, install, and repair electrical systems.
- Safety & Logistics: Operate tools safely, such as conduit benders, wire strippers, and cable crimpers, while following strict safety procedures like lockout/tagout.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
