Position Overview
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mix of mechanical and electrical aptitude who enjoys working hands-on and contributing to complex, real-world systems.
This position plays a critical role in assembling, testing, and supporting advanced systems used in cutting-edge scientific and engineering applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, operate, test, maintain, and calibrate electro-mechanical systems
- Perform system and sub-system testing and validation
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Inspect components and assemblies to ensure quality and specifications are met
- Install electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and instruments
- Analyze and document test results
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project milestones
- Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of systems and processes
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field
- OR
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role
Desired Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience using hand tools and soldering equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Optical assembly experience
- Motion control systems experience
- Exposure to chemistry or lab environments

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
