Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-complexity, multi-layer PCB layouts for medical imaging, diagnostic,
and healthcare systems.
  • Perform component placement, high-speed routing, impedance control, and stack-up definition
for analog, digital, and mixed-signal designs.
  • Translate schematics into manufacturable PCB layouts with high accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with medical industry standards and IPC guidelines
  • Apply DFM/DFT principles to meet strict production and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, PCB librarians, SI/PI engineers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Conduct design reviews, signal integrity analysis, and layout verification.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly outputs (Gerber, ODB++, BOM).
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve design issues.
  • Ensure traceability, documentation, and design control compliance
  • Work closely with other location counterparts to achieve the business goals.
  • Involve in localization activities for PCB and interacting with internal SCM team.
  • Lead the development, standardization, and maintenance of enterprise-wide PCB component
libraries, including schematic symbols, footprints, and Siemens EDA(Xpedition & PADS) .
  • Mentored junior librarians and design engineers, providing training on best practices, tools, and
standards for library management and build local competency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize workflows and reducing library creation
turnaround time while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Drive library quality assurance processes, including audits, peer reviews, and automated
validation checks to eliminate design errors and reduce rework.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware design, PCB layout, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to
support component selection, DFM/DFT compliance, and design optimization.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • 8+ years of experience in PCB design
  • You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/mechanical engineering or a
comparable subject
  • You have very good experience in project work, experience in leading projects, also in an
international environment, is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in multilayer PCB design (6–20+ layers preferred).
  • Expertise in EDA tools: Siemens EDA (Xpedition & PADS)
  • Understanding SI/PI, EMI/EMC, high-speed design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB).
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
  • High ownership mindset, self-sufficient, high autonomy and collaboration skills.
  • Create structures and maintain quality process for the PCB designer role.
  • Experience in cross-disciplinary task processing
  • Knowledge of Healthineers products/ processes
