About our opportunity :
We are seeking a detail-oriented ELV (End of Life Vehicle) National Planner Scheduler to join our team and play a critical role in planning and scheduling ELV end-to-end purchases, logistics, and operations. This position is designed to ensure a highly reliable ELV business process that maximises efficiency, lowers costs, and increases on-time delivery and revenue.

What you will be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with ELV management to develop a sophisticated planning and scheduling system.
  • Assist in integrating financial, sales, logistics, and operational data to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a rolling schedule, ensuring accurate forecasting from long-term (2 years) to short-term (daily) planning.
  • Gather and analyse data to forecast resource allocation and ensure supply meets demand.
  • Plan and manage product portfolios to support commercial, financial, and operational goals.
  • Make strategic and tactical decisions to balance demand with supply requirements.
  • Establish accurate reporting on key demand and supply inputs for visibility and informed decision-making.
  • Prepare impactful presentations that show how planning decisions will affect KPIs.
  • Plan for new product streams and process expansions, while managing phase-outs.
  • Transform complex datasets from multiple sources into actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with purchase and sales forecasting teams to optimise resource allocation.
About you:
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience in S&OP planning and scheduling roles is highly desirable.
  • Experience in fast-paced operational environments, particularly blue-collar or depot settings, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with planning/scheduling software.
  • Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A DBS check is mandatory.
