Email Marketing Specialist

The Role:

As an Email Marketing Specialist at MotionGrey, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our email marketing strategy to nurture relationships, engage customers, and increase sales. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that deliver measurable results.

This is not an entry level role; it is ideal for an experienced email marketer with a proven track record of creating impactful campaigns and managing the full lifecycle of email marketing. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to refine messaging, segment audiences, and maximize the potential of email as a key revenue driver.

Main Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Plan and implement email marketing strategies to drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
• Campaign Execution: Design and execute email campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, and nurture emails, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
• List Management: Maintain and grow email subscriber lists through effective segmentation, targeting, and lead generation initiatives.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze campaign performance using tools like Klaviyo and Google Analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement A/B tests.
• Automation: Develop and optimize email automation workflows for onboarding, re-engagement, and post-purchase follow-ups.
• Creative Collaboration: Work with designers to create compelling email content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Compliance: Ensure email campaigns comply with relevant regulations, such as CASL and GDPR.

Core Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in email marketing, within eCommerce or DTC brands.
• Proficiency working with Klaviyo is a must.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking and reporting performance metrics.
• Expertise in list segmentation, campaign automation, and audience targeting.
• Solid understanding of email deliverability, engagement best practices, and compliance (e.g., CASL/GDPR).
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills tailored for email marketing.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with SMS marketing
• Knowledge of basic HTML for email design.
• Understanding of PPC and SEO strategies.
• Passion for ergonomics, health, and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits:

At MotionGrey, we value expertise and dedication. The starting salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 depending on your experience level, with room for growth as you excel in the position.
