Employee Events Program Manager

At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. We started 20 years ago when we launched a more direct, affordable way for companies to get paid. That provided an alternative to the frustrating, overpriced solutions that banks offered at the time. Today, we serve more than 250,000 businesses across Europe with an all-in-one solution that simplifies payments and money management. And we’re a 850-strong team of product, finance, enablement, commerce, and engineering specialists working across Europe – from Lisbon to London.

Your Opportunity

Are you a strategic and creative event leader ready to elevate Mollie’s internal event experiences? As our Employee Events Program Manager you will take ownership of our Mollie internal event strategy, execution, and production - ensuring each event fosters engagement, collaboration, and company culture. You will own and lead the end-to-end process, from strategic concept to operational execution, working closely with internal stakeholders to create meaningful experiences that enhance employee engagement and alignment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and execute Mollie’s internal event strategy; including our Mollieverse and Mollie NEXT company-wide gatherings, Craft events, team-building activities, and partnering with our cultural initiatives.

  • Define event objectives; develop a comprehensive internal event calendar, and ensure seamless execution aligned with Mollie’s company values and goals.

  • Fully project manage all event logistics, coordinating between internal teams - including Leadership, People, Marketing, Brand and our Employee Resource Groups.

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define event agendas, messaging, and engagement strategies to enhance employee experience.

  • Oversee event assets, vendor relationships, budget management, post-event reporting, and the continuous refinement of best practices.

  • Foster internal communication and alignment of our internal events through regular updates, meetings, and real-time collaboration tools like Slack.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in event management and production in a fast-growing, dynamic company.

  • A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven ability to own, execute and host high-profile internal events - from creative ideation to post-event analysis.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, capable of translating company culture and engagement goals into immersive event experiences.

  • A hands-on, problem-solving approach with a passion for delivering best-in-class internal events that foster engagement and employee connection.

  • Experience as a trusted advisor collaborating across multiple teams, ensuring events align with broader company culture, internal communications, and People strategies.

  • You enjoy working with great people, have superb humour and resilience!

This is a full-time role, based in Amsterdam, with an ASAP start date. If you’re ready to make a real impact and take Mollie’s internal events to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!

Why Join Mollie?

  • Work in a high-growth, mission-driven fintech shaping the future of payments in Europe.

  • Collaborate, have fun and make impact with top-tier talent across the organisation.

  • Enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and a culture that fosters creativity and bold thinking.

  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
