This is not your average 9-5 role, at Optimise Everything we are a customer driven start-up with innovation at our core, we encourage team members to grow and have fun! Our customers are typically large office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and retail chains.

The Role

We are looking for people who like to get hands on within the building, find out how it ebbs & flows and make an impact to reduce its carbon emissions and running costs whilst maintaining comfort.

You will

Audit a building and put in place a 12 month plan to utlise existing plant on site to reduce consumption whilst maintaining comfort.

Oversee and assess the performance of smart systems and strategies across 30 to 40 buildings, recommending improvements and enhancements based on comprehensive data analysis.

Conduct systematic evaluations of implemented strategies, performing follow-up analyses to gauge effectiveness and ensure optimal operation across all managed buildings.

Implement data-driven adjustments, monitor outcomes, and refine approaches as necessary for each building's unique requirements.

Role : Smart Building Specialist

Base : Ireland or UK

Customer vs Internal facing : This role will involve engaging often with customers and key stakeholders to fully understand the building and make a difference.

Work from home : This can be a hybrid role or fully in-office (Dublin only). There will be an expectation to spend some time in the office to demo solutions, work through solutions, and engage with stakeholders.

Term : Full time.

Technical characteristics & experience

· Energy auditing background, mechanical engineering or associated technical skills

· Energy consultancy background

· Experience using online cloud-based reporting tools

· Metering, monitoring or energy management experience

· Likely to have experience of installation and surveying work, now wanting to progress in their career

· Ability to manage 3rd party contractors on site to detailed project plan

· Have excellent attention to detail

· Confident with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Familiarity with HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, Boilers, Chillers and BMS Control Systems

· Knowledge of lighting controls systems.

· Experience of project management on metering installation projects

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Have the ability to multi-task and priorities

· Be able to stay away and travel

· Have a full IRL or UK driving license

· Self-starter with a proactive approach and able to work on own initiative
