Engineer

Due to continued growth, Kent Stainless, Wexford are currently seeking an experienced full-time, permanent Engineer to join our team.

Reporting to the department manager, this role would suit someone who enjoys a very central and involved position within a company as the role involves liaising with many different departments such as Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing as well as external customers.

What you will do:

• Work within the Estimation Team under a guidance of Senior Estimators
• Process quotations to sales, from original enquiry
• Work with Senior Estimators and Engineers to develop Concepts
• Work on the project management of installations and repair works

Qualifications / Competencies you should have:

• Level 8 Degree in engineering discipline
• 3 - 5 years’ experience working in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering
• Costing / Materials take off experience an advantage
• Excellent IT and MS Excel skills essential with experience in manipulation of data
• Ability to use of SolidWorks
• Good working knowledge of SAP an advantage
• Strong capabilities in maintaining processes and procedures
• Ability to work as part of team and under own incitive
• A strong work ethic with a drive to deliver excellence
• High level of attention to detail
