Job Summary:

Responsible for working alongside Engineers and managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a project manager

Job Description:

Work in different departments to gain perspective, including Construction projects, Maintenance projects, Business development, Planning and Estimation, QA/QC, HSE, purchasing and costing

Assist the Project Engineer in the following areas.

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering construction and maintenance projects

Prepare the technical and commercial proposals for tenders and participate in the negotiations with the clients

Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

Monitor compliance with HSE policies and practices and participate in HSE initiatives

Perform overall control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and regularly report on project status

Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Preferably Fresh Grad

Interest in working in the Construction industry as a site engineer,including live plant environment

Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

Project management and supervision skills

Decision-making ability and leadership skills

Time management and organizational skill
