Job Summary:
Responsible for working alongside Engineers and managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a project manager
Job Description:
Work in different departments to gain perspective, including Construction projects, Maintenance projects, Business development, Planning and Estimation, QA/QC, HSE, purchasing and costing
Assist the Project Engineer in the following areas.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering construction and maintenance projects
- Prepare the technical and commercial proposals for tenders and participate in the negotiations with the clients
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies and practices and participate in HSE initiatives
- Perform overall control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and regularly report on project status
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Preferably Fresh Grad
- Interest in working in the Construction industry as a site engineer,including live plant environment
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills
- Time management and organizational skill
