Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning System Provider
  • Position Title: Engineer (Sales & Project in HVAC Equipment and Refrigeration system)
  • Working Location: East – Ubi (Walking distance from Ubi MRT to the company)
  • Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday 8.30 am-5.30 pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to SGD 5000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + Commission
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Project

  • Design, plan, and manage the testing, commissioning, and supervision of HVAC & Refrigeration projects in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, submittals, and re-estimation reports. Ensure thorough project documentation and provide regular updates to management on project status.
  • Perform site surveys to determine the placement of pipes, ducts, and control panels, attend site meetings, and ensure adherence to safety regulations while monitoring construction progress.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and governing bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Execute testing, commissioning, and quality assessments to guarantee the functionality, dependability, and safety of HVAC systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain system components.
  • Support clients in enhancing energy efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and offering post-installation assistance.
  • Create 2D engineering and electrical diagrams using specialized software.
  • Control material and labour expenses to align with budget constraints.

Sales

  • Analyze market trends, observe competitor activity, and identify emerging market segments and potential customer profiles.
  • Engage with customers, follow up on leads, and nurture client relationships to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies, negotiate agreements, and provide technical support both before and after sales.
  • Compile comprehensive sales reports and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.

  • Min. Diploma in Engineering.
  • Min 2 years of working experience in sales, servicing or project management for HVAC.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Willing to travel overseas as needed for onsite client meetings, presentations, industry events as required.
