As Engineering Manager, the position owns Engineer activities for Surface Pressure Control (SPC) globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for engineering activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading a global Engineering team that converts proposal to executable engineering deliverables (Part Number, Manufacturing Drawing and Specification) along with any required engineering documentation (Installation Procedure, etc) from either long-term contract agreement (customer-specific product catalog) or Purchase Order (PO) to drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes and ultimately meet requirement of customer and governing industry standard.
- Managing and plan Engineering resource allocation/capacity between the available Engineering centers globally, in alignment with the Sales & Operational Plan (S&OP) demand from the business.
- Monitoring and drive KPI for Engineering team, which includes On-Time-Delivery, Yield, First-Time-Yield, COPQ.
- Assessing & monitoring Global Engineering competency and drive training/development plan to close gap between the competency and role expectation.
- Driving a sharing of best practices and lesson learning across Engineering organization.
- Driving minimum variance between as-sold vs as-executed engineering cost and engineering-driven product cost.
- Driving clear communication and consistent quality level of Engineering deliverables to Project Manager and Supply Chain Organization.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have a bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering would be a benefit).
- Have minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and 5 additional years of experience in Design Engineering Management with global scope.
- Have minimum 5 years experience working as Product Design Engineer in Surface Wellhead company.
- Familiar with the relevant Industry Standard: API 6A, API16A, NACE MR0175
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Have ability to lead programs / projects and ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skill
