We are looking for an Engineer/Senior Engineer, Electrical Drive Systems, Power Electronics (fixed-term parental-leave replacement) with at least 2 years of experience in testing and assembling power electronic systems to join our team in Hyvinkää, Finland (on-site) with some remote working possibilities for test planning, analysis, and documentation. Preferred start date would be on September/October 2025.

Responsibilities include conducting tests on electrical drive systems, analyzing test results, troubleshooting and preparing detailed reports. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of power electronics system assembly and testing, laboratory measurement techniques, and is a proactive, self-motivated professional who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.

Role & responsibilities

• Assembling prototypes and test systems including wiring, soldering and integrating components

• Performing laboratory testing and measurements of electrical drive systems and power electronics

• Developing and executing test specifications, plans and reports.

• Collaborating and supporting the R&D team to ensure high-quality testing procedures

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

• At least 2 years of experience in assembling and testing power electronics systems

• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing, measurement tools and assembling test systems.

• Proactive and detail-oriented professionals with a passion for continuous learning, technical growth and solving technical challenges.

• Fluent English skills
