Job Overview
- Part-time, contract
- Hours per week vary depending on each student’s needs and the tutor’s availability
- Most tutoring sessions occur in the evenings & on weekends
- Preference for tutors who can commit for the school year or semester
- Compensation generally ranges from a base rate of $21-25/hr, depending on educational qualifications and work experience.

- Gloucester, Orleans, and Navan.
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate English language Arts ( Reading & Writing) Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with K-12 students to enhance their reading and writing skills through individualized sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' reading and writing levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Utilize engaging instructional techniques
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents and teachers on student progress.
- Travel to and tutor in student's home(pre-screened for safety)/library
- Monitor student progress and submit session reports for each student
Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching or tutoring English Language Arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Certified or retired teachers,professionals, student teachers, Education Assistants, etc.
- Have knowledge of Ontario K-12 School Curriculum.
- Previous experience working with special needs (an asset)
- · Access to reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and able to travel in and around Orleans, Rockland, Cumberland, and Navan.
- Open to completing a criminal background check (Background checks from other agencies are accepted)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
