English Language Teacher - After School And Vacation Camps

Company Description

The Garden Academy is an innovative English immersion school for children located in Paris, with schools in the 15th, 7th, and 5th. We offer a bilingual preschool/kindergarten for children aged 2 to 5 and a fully immersive English after-school program for children aged 3 to 10. Through both of these programs, we encourage children to be active participants in their learning journey, using experimentation, play, and intrinsic motivation to encourage children to use English through a range of disciplines, including arts, music, STEM, and more.

Our after-school program:

We offer 100% immersive English after-school workshops on Monday – Friday afternoons, and all day Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Each workshop follows a different theme and is devised to spark children’s curiosity, engage them in hands-on activities, and have fun, memorable moments in English. The aim is to teach English as a second language through hands-on activities inspired by the methods of Freinet (experimental trial and error, individualized learning), Reggio Emilia (cooperative pedagogy, project pedagogy) and the American STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approaches as opposed to using a traditional academic worksheet-based approach.

In addition - we offer fully immersive English vacation camps that take place during each school vacation period, from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
