Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to support a Remedial Education Center being run under a CSR initiative. The teacher will be responsible for providing remedial English education to children from Class 1 to Class 12, ensuring academic improvement and holistic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English across grades 1 to 12, adapting methods to suit diverse learning needs.

Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and engaging activities for remedial learning.

Track individual student progress and provide regular feedback.

Submit daily progress reports as required by the program.

Conduct home visits when necessary to encourage student attendance and participation.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel motivated to learn.

Coordinate with project staff, parents, and community members to strengthen the program’s impact.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Prior experience in teaching English to school students, preferably spanning multiple grade levels.

Strong understanding of remedial teaching techniques and child-centered pedagogy.

Ability to communicate effectively in English and local language (preferred).

Commitment to working with children from underprivileged backgrounds.

Organizational skills for lesson planning, record-keeping, and reporting.
