Job Description: English Tutor (Grades 6-12, All Boards)

Locations:

• Perungudi
• T. Nagar
• Maduravoyal
• Nungambakkam

Work Timings: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate English Tutors to teach students from Grades 6 to 12 across all major educational boards (State, CBSE, ICSE, and others). The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a flair for teaching, and the ability to foster a love for learning in students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English to students from Grades 6 to 12, ensuring alignment with board-specific curriculum requirements.
• Develop lesson plans and creative teaching materials tailored to different boards and grade levels.
• Conduct engaging and interactive classes that build language skills, including grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and literature.
• Guide students on completing their daily diary homework and ensure clarity in their understanding of assignments.
• Prepare students for board exams, competitive exams, and regular assessments with a focus on core language skills.
• Provide personalized attention to students based on their learning needs and language proficiency levels.
• Track and assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback sessions.
• Create a supportive and encouraging environment to enhance student confidence in English.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student performance and areas for improvement when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Experience teaching English to Grades 6-12 students for State, CBSE, ICSE, or other boards is an advantage.
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex language concepts.
• Patience, creativity, and the ability to engage students of varying proficiency levels.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students to excel in the subject.

Work Details:

• Locations: Perungudi, T. Nagar, Maduravoyal, and Nungambakkam.
• Timing: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday).

Compensation: Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
