About the Role
Are you an experienced and adaptable Enrolled Nurse looking for a role that offers variety and meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic community care team in Whakatāne, providing holistic and compassionate care to clients in their homes.
This permanent part-time position requires flexibility to work shifts between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Sunday. You will play a key role in delivering client-focused care, working independently while contributing to a friendly, supportive, and experienced team.

About you
We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate who thrives on variety and challenge in their work. With a focus on wound care and independent practice, you will bring strong clinical expertise and a passion for making a difference.
- Enrolled Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Two or more years of recent nursing experience, preferably in District, Community, or Acute Nursing.
- Sound knowledge in wound care and the ability to work independently.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
