About the role
The Enterprise End User Computing (EUC) & Service Desk (SD) Lead is responsible for leading Housing Choices Australia's end user technology services across service desk operations and modern workspace platforms. This role ensures the delivery of secure, reliable and customer-focused IT support services, while also overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, endpoint management and workplace collaboration technologies.
The role provides day-to-day leadership of the Service Desk team, supports capability uplift across end user support, and drives standardisation, governance and continuous improvement across EUC services. Deliver first and second-level IT support across a multi-site environment
Lead and manage end user computing and service desk operations, ensuring reliable, secure and high‑quality support for workplace technologies across the organisation.
Provide people leadership and technical direction to the Service Desk and Modern Workspace team, fostering a customer‑focused culture, mentoring staff and driving performance against service levels.
Own and improve modern workspace platforms including Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows Autopilot and Entra ID, overseeing device lifecycle management, endpoint security, patching and identity controls.
Drive continuous service improvement and user experience uplift, using service metrics, automation, standardisation and documentation to reduce incidents and improve operational maturity.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and managed service providers, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and supporting governance, risk, security and compliance obligations.
About the team
The Transformation group drives organisational innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across Housing Choices Australia. It leads initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness, streamline service delivery, and build capacity to adapt to evolving housing demands and technological advancements. This group ensures the organisation remains agile and responsive, well-positioned to meet future challenges and opportunities.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
You will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Strong working knowledge of modern workplace technologies including Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Windows 11.
Understanding of identity and access concepts including MFA, Conditional Access and least privilege
Demonstrated experience leading or supervising an end user support or service desk function in a medium to large organisation.
Hands-on experience administering Intune and endpoint management, including policy configuration, application deployment, compliance and reporting.
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
