FULL TIME IN-PERSON (Mon-Fri) Chimney Sweep Technician position available.

We are looking for a reliable individual who is interested in becoming a chimney sweep! We provide training and assistance in certification, we just need a motivated individual who is looking to start their journey as a tradesman. You will be working alongside a trained sweep learning as you go.

Skills that you will acquire on the job include but are not limited to: Chimney sweeping, liner installations, setting up ladders and scaffolding, masonry repairs, carpentry, basic roofing, and residential construction.

This is a year-round position with a chimney sweep service company servicing residential buildings in the Rhode Island East Bay area, Aquidneck Island, Jamestown and nearby MA communities.

Job Requirements

Candidate MUST be able to:

-Lift 50+ pounds

-Be comfortable working at roof heights.

-Have a clean driving record

-Have a clean appearance and be respectful in our clients’ homes.

-Candidate must also be able to read/comprehend and speak English.

Pay rate is dependent on individual skills/experience. Pay increase with licensing and certification obtained on the job. Assistance in certification is provided. Vacation and holiday pay, company retirement contribution is also available.
