The Role
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team at Huntstown Power Station. This role will play a key role in ensuring that our operations are at the highest standards of environmental compliance, performance and sustainability. Reporting to our Environmental Manager, this role will support all aspects of environmental compliance across Huntstown Power Stations and will contribute to Group wide environmental reporting and projects.
The successful candidate will be a technical expert with a passion for making a real impact through their role- supporting highly flexible, efficient power plants and contributing to a more sustainable energy system.
What you'll need
- Qualification to degree level in an environmental, engineering or energy discipline.
- Experience in an environmental, energy or chemistry role within a power station or equivalent environment.
- Experience of managing or supporting technical projects.
- Experience of developing detailed technical reports, procedures or policies.
- Experience of interacting with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.
