Responsibilities Include:
- Site support of environmental, health, safety & energy system and programs.
- Assist with accident/incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions, including ways to engineer hazards out of the process.
- Work with continuous improvement plant support to coordinate kaizen projects. This includes project selection, justification, planning, training, execution, and project reporting.

Conduct SMAT, EMAT, Environmental and Safety audits, studies and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards
and regulations, and industrial hygiene system conformance. - Engineering support for programs / procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce EHS&E hazards associated with plant operations.
- Develops cost/benefit analyses and financial models to support the capital requirements and alternative selections to existing EHSE systems.
- Develops equipment requirements to improve the safety and manufacturing process.
- Supports new product introductions.
- Assist with both Safety & Environmental Continuous Improvement Project initiatives.
- Remain current on relevant regulatory and management system requirements and serve as a central resource to the plant.
- Support tracking and reporting of facility EHS&E performance; internal to the facility, regionally, and through CNH Industrial system. Provide EHS&E information as required.
- Lead and support continuous improvement of the EHS&E function across the site.
- Engineering support for EHS&E, including safety and environmental projects.
- Generate and prepare reports, provide information and presentations to shop employees, supervisors, management teams.
- Perform indirect purchasing functions in SAP.
- Make professional presentations to management and provide informal guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- Research ergonomic and safety issues in order to recommend improvements.
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Health, Safety or similar plus 4 or more years of experience
- Prefer previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- In lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of relevant experience will be considered
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability and/or experience in finding creative solutions to problems
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
