Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking Equipment Center Yard and Customer Service Associate for Full-time and Part-time positions.
About Us: East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.
General Requirements:
- Applicant must be capable of lifting over 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Minimum 6” work boot required ( steel & composite toe optional)
- Job requires working outdoors during all weather conditions.
- Good organizational skills.
- Prior experience preferred, but not required.
- Good communication skills, with ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and independently.
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day.
- Available and willing to work at least 1 weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record is required
Yard Customer Service Associated Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with selecting and loading and unloading of Equipment.
- Demonstrating Safe operation of equipment to rental customers based on policy and procedures.
- Professional interaction with our customers and co-workers.
- Operating outdoor power and small equipment (Mowers, blowers, skid steers etc.).
- Checking in and/or returning repaired Customer Equipment.
- Checking, cleaning (Pressure washing), inspecting, maintaining rental equipment.
- Cleaning and Organizing the rental yard and storage areas. (Sweeping, snow removal etc.).
- Occasionally assist the shipping department with deliveries to homes and jobsites.
- Assisting repair shop personnel with various duties.
- Operate Propane re-fill station.
