JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: JD Edwards Business Analyst

Location: Garland, TX/Hybrid

Job Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Job Overview: We are looking for a JD Edwards Business Analyst to support, design, and implement JD Edwards-based solutions, as well as third-party software. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues, recommend and design solutions, conduct tests, train users, and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to third-party tools (PayCom, credit card processing, job schedulers, custom apps) by coordinating with relevant support teams.
• Provide first-level support for application-related inquiries and issues.
• Monitor "Alert" reports for potential problems, such as sales orders shipped but not billed, and take corrective actions.
• Oversee interfaces for Sales Orders, Invoices, and Purchase Orders, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Leverage JD Edwards Orchestrator to automate business processes.
• Create and maintain ERP reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into JD Edwards solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes meet business requirements.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance business operations.
• Contribute to team efforts in advancing business solutions.
• Train users on various JD Edwards modules and provide education on best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications (9.0 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with JD Edwards Finance, Sales, and Purchase Order modules.
• Solid understanding of JD Edwards database structures, common tables, and relationships.
• Experience with configuring UDC tables, application constants, processing options, and other JD Edwards settings.
• Proficiency in JD Edwards Orchestrator.
• Ability to prototype, test, and walk through business processes in a testing environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business language effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with the Groovy programming language.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and queries.
• Experience with JSON and .NET technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
