The Role:

You will join Sunrock’s cross functional team and collaborate with talented and experienced colleagues in the field of ESG, procurement and general compliance. Our team helps our leadership and country teams make informed decisions. We work towards making the business successful, creating value, and staying future-proof. As a team member, you will work closely with all members of the team but may interact with different Sunrock business units depending on the project at hand. You will report directly to the ESG manager in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  You will be responsible for supporting the development of ESG strategies and helping to implement them within Sunrock.

• 
  You will closely collaborate with the relevant teams/departments.

• 
  You will coordinate the collection of data and ESG reporting within Sunrock.

• 
  You will prepare and deliver presentations on specific ESG topics to both internal and external stakeholders.

• 
  You will coordinate and facilitate ESG working groups within Sunrock.

• 
  You will support ESG assessments of suppliers.

• 
  You will participate in external ESG initiatives on behalf of Sunrock.

What You Bring To The Table:

• You are currently a student, either in your third year of undergraduate studies or pursuing a master's degree.

• 
  You have a desire to make an impact and contribute to the energy transition.

• 
  You have a strong desire to help Sunrock incorporate people and planet considerations in how we operate.

• 
  You have an affinity with ESG frameworks such as UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, and EU legislation on ESG, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

  You are fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills.

• 
  You have excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• 
  You reside in the Netherlands.
