We're looking for Bakers who love digging into their job, who take pride in every crafted product they make, always chasing that perfect piece. We're looking for night owls who can work independently or with a small team of like minded folks.

Key Responsibilities -

• Proof bagels according to production schedules and temperatures
• Kettle-boil bagels to ensure proper texture and quality
• Bake bagels to consistent color and doneness
• Prepare and portion ingredients (toppings)
• Accurately pack and label bagels according to café invoices and order specifications
• Follow invoices carefully to ensure all orders are complete, correct, and ready on time
• Maintain accurate production levels to meet daily demand
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and maintain equipment and workspace
• Assist with inventory and ingredient organization
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred (bagel experience a plus, but not required)
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive, team minded attitude
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable and punctual
• Be able to work overnight shifts (shift times 8PM-6AM 4X per Week )
• Have a Current WA State Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain)
